The Boy Scouts of America is one of the nation's largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations. The BSA provides a program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and develops personal fitness. It provides youth with programs and activities that combine educational activities and lifelong values with fun.
Troop 475 has been chartered with St. Daniel the Prophet for over 60 years and has had over 60 boys earn the rank of Eagle Scout. Through our Leadership and Advancement Program, scouts can learn about and experience a wide variety of subjects and advance in rank at the the same time by earning merit badges and participating in community service. Some of our outdoor activities include camping, fishing, hiking and skiing. We participate in community service events such as Food Drives, projects at Ronald McDonald House and Little Red Schoolhouse, and events at St. Daniel the Prophet.
Boys, ages 11-17, that would like to join or learn about the Boy Scout program can contact our Scoutmaster, David Maynard, at 773-910-6617 or by troop email: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
